【Relationships】
Chitose - Best friend / Sister
These two hold a long and entangled history with one another, both in their current lives and in their past. In their most recent life they two met in a rather chaotic time and, due to a series of certain circumstances, didn't quite hit it off in a friendship right away. Both had something of a brother complex and this lended to most of their bickering before they eventually managed to form a friendship together. Once it had been established they were nearly inseparable themselves; a friendship that has lasted for years. The connection between the two of them grew exponentially when they learned of their past lives and their being incarnations of the Sun and Moon Deities.
Atemask - Spirit attachment
Although they had only met for the first time in Kamar's previous life, Atemask had found her way to Kamar in the form of a spirit. When the two of them were alive together, they were incredibly close. Atemask served under The High Priestess Kamar as well as protected her from harm, but to Kamar she was like a big sister. Forgetting the life they had lived out in the past, there was still a strong bond between them - however since Atemask was now only a spirit Kamar was limited to when and where she was free to speak with Atemask. [She could see and hear the spirit but most other's could not.] Eventually Kamar managed to help Atemask move on into the afterlife. Kamar deeply misses her haunting companion, but knowing she's at peace now she's able to let her go.
Kotoko - Close acquaintance / Pen-pal
In the beginning Kotoko sent the coldest of chills down Kamar's spine with her assertive and overbearing personality and the constant talk of how the two of them would be just perfect for each other. After some time she found herself used to Kotoko's behavior and appreciated her excited conversations. Kotoko became a big support to Kamar after a low point in her life but it was also around that time she began to go off in her own direction - which led to her moving to another country. The two of them still talk and consider each other pen pal buddies; as they took up mailing one another scrapbook pages of things they feel the other would enjoy.
Kiki - Ex-Lover (present life)
A treasured chapter in her life, Kamar is head-over-heels in love with her still. The time they had together was, truly, some of the best memories but things didn't last and the two just couldn't make things work no matter how many times they tried. The bad times were bad and the break-ups hurt deep; she regrets not being able to make things work and wishes she had done better for Kiki. The two still see each other now and then; and Kamar's feelings flare up in her chest in those moments. She's certain she will always love Kiki.
Thief King - Ex-Lover (past life)
Admittedly the most upside-down and rocky relationship Kamar has ever been a part of. In ancient Egypt Kamar met, and saved, the life of a man whom she stumbled upon in the desert. They spent only a brief time together before he vanished after being nursed back to moderate health. Years later they crossed paths once again in the most unfortunate of ways - as the thief infected Kamar's heart with despair and used her to further his attempts to murder the Pharaoh. Blinded by what she assumed was love, she was easily brainwashed to believe his version of justice and follow his motives against her own people. She came to her senses shortly before his death and used a portion of her powers to protect his soul from ruination allowing him to be born again in another life. She still finds herself feeling something for him, though the pain of betrayal keeps her from thinking on it much.
【History】
Born to a people who lived their lives underground and away from society in Egypt, Kamar never got to know her mother who had died from complications giving birth to herself and her twin brother. Kamar was raised by her elder sister as opposed to her father - mostly due to his heavy focus on passing on family traditions to her brothers rather than anything related to the sisters. This made things hard on her when she wanted desperately to be around her twin brother more than anything.
Upon the death of their father Kamar and her siblings moved past their people traditions of living underground and rejecting society. The rough schooling they had learned from their family was not enough to prepare them however and they struggled to find a way to survive together. It wasn't until their older siblings found stable positions for work that they were capable of attending an actual school. Through schooling Kamar managed to make it onto a foreign exchange program where she was sent overseas to attend school in Japan - where she met most of her friends and ultimately decided upon her future in the foreign country.
